Every month, the DEA Museum takes viewers behind the scenes to explore compelling stories about its most exciting artifacts.

This episode of "Stories from the Collection" shares the legendary tale of Jesús Malverde, a Mexican folk saint. The spiritual icon originated in Sinaloa, Mexico, over one hundred years ago. Learn how a statue of Malverde ended up in the Museum’s collection and the many different ideas and beliefs he represents.
