The National Center for Youth in Custody (NC4YC) invites you to participate in our next installment in a series of webinars focusing on Conditions of Confinement. Few argue the importance of education in a youth’s life, but many fail to recognize the importance of a robust, engaging and quality education program in a confinement setting as playing a critical role in reconnecting educationally disenfranchised students to successful educational experiences.

How that happens and what constitutes a quality confinement education program is the subject of this webinar. Panelists environments for youth?  will address topics such as curriculum, teaching and learning, assessment, educational program design and structure, student re-entry and transition strategies. In addition, panelists will provide insight on how quality education programs contribute to safe and healthy conditions of confinement and positive facility culture.
