Office of Personnel Management’s (OPM) Monthly Retirement Audit Reports

We are sharing the attached memo Interior Business Center sent to the OPM’s Retirement Services on June 9, 2022, concerning our review of the retirement monthly audit report on our payroll errors. We found that our report contained around 81% of invalid errors. We have heard from other agencies that their reports also contain invalid errors. We feel improving the audit reports to eliminate invalid errors will allow agencies and Shared Service Providers to focus on valid errors and continue to work on preventative measures with future submissions of their information.
