Subject: Government-wide G-Invoicing Implementation
|
|
As you are aware, there is a government-wide effort under way to implement G-Invoicing. G-Invoicing is an online solution, managed by the U.S. Department of Treasury, Bureau of Fiscal Service, to provide a common platform for intragovernmental transactions. G-Invoicing addresses accounting and reporting challenges around buy and sell transactions. In preparation to the transition to the government-wide invoicing solution, IBC has been actively engaged with your agency on implementing G-Invoicing with your OFF financial management solution.
All federal program agencies must implement G-Invoicing for new orders by October 1, 2022.
The implementation deadline for “in-flight” orders is October 1, 2023. For IBC’s inter-agency agreements with your agency, IBC representatives will be contacting our primary points of contact within trading partner organizations to establish timelines for implementation of General Terms and Conditions (GT&Cs) as well as migrating our ordering processes to G-Invoicing.
While some of our trading partners do business and have inter-agency agreements with other parts of the U.S. Department of the Interior, due to the unique nature of IBC’s partnerships as a shared services provider for critical functions like payroll and financial management, IBC is planning to establish GT&Cs at the IBC level wherever feasible and at the line of business or service level if necessary. As such, multiple parties within DOI may contact you to establish GT&Cs for other services provided within DOI but outside IBC’s purview.
