The Department of Transportation’s Office of Drug and Alcohol Policy and Compliance (ODAPC) advises the Secretary of Transportation on national and international drug testing and control issues in aviation, trucking, railroads, mass transit, pipelines, and other transportation industries.

When notifying an applicant to report to a collection site, remind them to bring:
- Photo identification
- A copy of their ePassport
- A somewhat full bladder
- Mask if the site requires it
- Your phone number if they need to reach out with issues
While not required, it may benefit the applicant to clear their schedule the day they report for testing and to have patience as collection sites deal with pandemic related delays or healthcare employment losses.
