Follow-Up: Data Synchronicity Issue

The IBC HRD Datamart recently experienced a data synchronicity problem for completed transactions transferred from FPPS from June 25 through June 28, 2021.
The problem, as of July 18, has been resolved.
The root cause analysis (RCA) concluded that our IT environment was insufficiently resourced at a critical time in the nightly transaction update process. The IBC team prepared and processed massive files of cumulative transactions only on weekends to avoid lengthy system outages during normal business hours.
To mitigate risk in the future, we have implemented the following proactive measures.
- Increased system resources
- Improved system resource monitoring
- Deleted older, unneeded files to reduce the size of files requiring re-load
- Updated the data retention procedure
The Datamart team regrets that it took three weeks to resolve the problem and we sincerely appreciate your patience.
