In anticipation of the Juneteenth National Independence Day Act, establishing June 19, 2021, as a Federal Holiday, and it being recognized tomorrow, June 18, 2021, please see the below guidance for T&A systems. It is essential all data processing staff are advised of the importance of following the information related to PP 2021-13.
Normally, with adequate lead time and planning, Federal Holidays are pre-populated onto time sheets. Therefore, all users will need to manually add pay code 050-Holiday, to their T&As ahead of the validation and certification process. IBC has added this new holiday to the internal calendars to avoid any validation issues.
For amended T&As only for Pay Groups 2 & 3:
To ensure submissions are received early, it may require changes to release schedules from your T&A system. For Quicktime or webTA, administrators will need to review and ensure the Lock/Release or Build and Transfer schedule is changed appropriately for early submission.
All T/A files transmitted by clients using non-IBC hosted T&A hosted solutions please see important note below (those clients who are not on Quicktime or on IBC-hosted webTA): If you send any current or amended T&A files on Friday, June 18th, DO NOT send any current or amended T&A files on Saturday, June 19th to ensure Friday’s data is not overwritten and/or lost. Therefore, if you submit on Friday, IBC is recommending you wait until Monday, June 21, 2021, to resume submitting any additional files.
