What can you do NOW?
Carefully review the important dates below regarding the DOI Learn blackout.
-
October 15, 2018: No new accounts. No new user accounts of any kind will be created in DOI Learn from this date forward.
-
October 15, 2018: No new training requests. No new internal or external (SF-182) training requests will be processed via DOI Learn. Training that does not require prior approval will still be accessible in DOI Learn until the system blackout.
-
October 21, 2018: System blackout. On October 21, 2018, a blackout period is anticipated to begin, during which time employees will not have access to DOI Learn or DOI Talent. We anticipate this period to last two weeks, after which time, DOI Talent will be the system of record. You will receive additional emails letting you know when your new learning management system, DOI Talent, is available.
The period between October 15 and October 21 allows supervisors and administrators time to address pending requests prior to the blackout.
During the blackout, all new hires will complete their Information Management Technology (IMT) training requirements through the streaming link available on our website to obtain their network access.
Download your DOI Learn transcript for your personal records by Friday, October 19. Instructions on how to do so are available on our announcements page. Remember, only “completed” courses from your DOI Learn transcript will appear on your record in DOI Talent.
Familiarize yourself with DOI Talent! Employee and Supervisor tutorials for DOI Talent are available now on DOI Learn.
These 20-minute introductory overviews are intended to familiarize users with system functions. While the look of DOI Talent may vary somewhat, the system capabilities will remain the same.
Check out the resources section below to find more information and register for our Wednesday Webinars. We are offering weekly webinars from October 17 - November 14.
