The U.S. Small Business
Administration (SBA), in conjunction with 11 fellow federal agencies involved
in the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology
Transfer (STTR) programs, will start its 18-state SBIR Road Tour for FY2018
with the theme, “Seeding America’s Future Innovations.”
The purpose of
this national outreach effort is to educate small-business and small technology
firms on how to take advantage of these programs–targeting advanced technology
communities and to engage the small advanced technology community, including
women and minority-owned research and development businesses.
The first leg
of the SBIR Road Tour will begin the week of April16-20 with stops in:
Tennessee, Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi and Louisiana.
