The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is hosting a 1-hour interactive webinar on Nov. 2 from 4 - 5 PM EST to encourage public dialogue with the consortia and share progress on its consent-based siting activities.
Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions to the consortia regarding their plans to foster community discussion and capture feedback on federal consolidated interim storage of spent nuclear fuel. Remarks will be provided, and questions answered, by Director for DOE’s Office of Integrated Waste Management, Dr. Erica Bickford.
All communities, organizations, and individuals interested in DOE’s consent-based siting and consortia activities are encouraged to attend this interactive webinar.
