The U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Science, Nuclear Physics and Fusion Energy Sciences, is announcing that $2,000,000 is available to support the advancement of Nuclear Data for Fusion Applications, particularly neutron interaction cross-sections, decay pathways, and activation products. Improved nuclear data in this area will help improve modeling and simulation results, and fusion system planning and design. The Nuclear Data InterAgency Working Group Research Program is in its 7th year of building collaborative research efforts that improve nuclear data for basic science and applications.
