DPA Consortium Voluntary Agreement Open for Public Comment

Washington, D.C. – In response to President Donald J. Trump’s Executive Order 14302, Reinvigorating the Nuclear Industrial Base, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) today published a draft voluntary agreement for the Nuclear Fuel Cycle Defense Production Act (DPA) Consortium in the Federal Register.

DOE is seeking public comment on the standards and procedures that the Department will use to execute the voluntary agreements under DPA section 708 to enable enhanced coordination across government and industry to strengthen the resilience, security, and capacity of the nation’s nuclear fuel cycle.
