Today is #NationalInternDay and we are celebrating by recognizing and appreciating contributions that hard-working interns make at the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Energy Justice and Equity (EJE). EJE believes in nurturing talent and fostering an environment where students and graduates can thrive. We also believe that interns present an opportunity to offer a fresh perspective to the organization. Furthermore, investing in interns helps grow a pipeline of diverse and talented individuals who will take on real world energy challenges while working alongside the Nation’s most talented scientists and energy professionals.
Interns from the 2024 Minority Educational Institutions Student Partnership Program pose on the steps of the Forrestal Building in Washington, DC on Friday, May 31, 2024.
