ENERGYWERX and the U.S. Department of Energy will host open office hours for potential applicants. Participants are encouraged to come prepared to ask questions.
The U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Regional Energy Democracy Initiative (REDI) is a technical assistance and capacity building program intended to help communities meaningfully engage in the design and implementation of community benefits associated with DOE-funded projects in Texas and Louisiana in the U.S. Gulf South region. REDI aims to support an energy future that is reflective of community voice and provides tailored solutions by assisting communities in better planning and developing community benefits and commitments.
How to Apply
Potential applicants are encouraged to apply before the July 31, 2024, deadline. All applications will go through ENERGYWERX, DOE’s Partnership Intermediary, to help applicants with limited or no experience applying for federal funding.
