DOE opened submissions for U.S. entrepreneurs, businesses, technology developers, and local governments to apply to receive vouchers for specific commercialization services in the clean energy sector. The vouchers can be used for pre-approved providers to access test-bed performance validation capabilities, industry certification testing, technical and business maturation services, siting/permitting support, and other commercialization assistance. The deadline to apply for OCED’s Request for Proposal for an independent, not-for-profit U.S. entity to de-risk clean hydrogen through demand certainty to support the Regional Clean Hydrogen Hubs program has been extended to November 2, 2023. DOE is interested in selecting one or more independent (i.e., non-government), U.S.-based, not-for-profit entities to support and execute clean hydrogen demand-side support mechanisms.
