Join us on Friday, February 10, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. ET to hear how DOE is planning to make place-based investments in energy communities through funding for small- and medium-sized manufacturing facilities.
The Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Manufacturing and Energy Supply Chains (MESC) and Office of Economic Impact and Diversity are excited to offer a webinar on the Advanced Energy Manufacturing and Recycling Grant Program funded by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. Small- and medium-sized manufacturers (SMMs) are the backbone of U.S. manufacturing. By investing in SMM projects and taking advantage of the opportunities created by the clean energy economy, the program seeks to catalyze private investment in these communities.
The Advanced Energy Manufacturing and Recycling Grant Program supports the building, expanding, or re-equipping of small and medium-sized manufacturing facilities in former coal mining and power plant communities to produce or recycle advanced energy products. The program emphasizes the importance of the equitable distribution of grants to diverse organizations and prioritize supporting minority-owned businesses.
This webinar will provide an overview of the forthcoming program. DOE is inviting small- and medium-sized manufacturers and all other interested parties to join the webinar to learn more about the program and the potential for maximizing DOE’s place-based investments for wide-ranging community and regional impact in these energy communities.
