This monthly newsletter from LPO will include key updates, upcoming events and webinars, news, and resources for potential applicants and other stakeholders related to State Energy Financing Institution (SEFI) eligible projects.
Updates
LPO published a blog on Defining “Meaningful Financial Support” from a State Energy Financing Institution. While each determination is made on a case-by-case basis, this blog outlines and discusses potentially eligible sources of “financial support or credit enhancements” and provides guidance on LPO’s criteria for assessing “meaningfulness” of SEFI support.
Elizabeth Bellis Wolfe, Senior Advisor (contractor) and Hans Riemer, Senior Advisor (contractor) led a webinar – How State Energy Financing Institutions Are Designing Programs in Partnership with LPO – with senior leaders at CT Green Bank, NYSERDA, New York Green Bank, and the New Jersey Economic Development Authority about how each state is working with LPO to design their programs. LPO also discussed how it looks at meaningful financial support in the context of how SEFI supported projects can qualify for LPO financing.
