President Joe Biden has named U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Legacy (LM) Director Carmelo Melendez a Presidential Rank Award of Meritorious Service winner, which is considered the highest honor career civil servants can receive.
During the March-December field season, DRUM teams conducted work in the Navajo Nation. Work was performed at the Pueblo of Laguna, the Spokane Indian Reservation in eastern Washington, as well as on public and state lands.
