Labwide myCority Health Portal Launches on Monday, June 10, 2024

On Monday, June 10, 2024, Argonne will launch myCority — a portal on MyArgonne that lab employees can use to complete medical surveillance questionnaires and upload, view, and print personal medical records.

MyCority replaces the My Health online health record system. Current My Health users’ personal information will be automatically migrated into myCority. Friday, June 7, 2024, at noon CT is the last time employees and associates can access their data in My Health.

Information will be completely secure during the migration. Some health records will be available immediately and migration is scheduled to happen in stages throughout the summer. We will send out additional notifications when this is complete. In the meantime, if you need copies of any previous health records you can contact Health and Employee Wellness (HEW).

What Is myCority?

MyCority is a portal that leverages resources in Cority, the lab’s existing safety management software system. Cority is a leading occupational health software provider. More than 800 organizations use Cority to strengthen injury and illness management, optimize return-to-work processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and identify insights to realize better workforce health and wellness. Environment, Safety, and Health currently uses Cority to improve business systems, streamline facilities safety and health inspection processes, and simplify steps to manage corrective actions.

MyCority aligns with the U.S. Department of Energy’s Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) authorization. FedRAMP is a United States federal government-wide compliance program that provides a standardized approach to security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring for cloud products and services.

What Will Change?

You will be able to access personal medical information on any computer, tablet, or handheld device. You can also upload documents for sick leave and disability. Your health information will be stored in Cority and only be accessible by you and HEW.

Through myCority, the lab will streamline and improve Argonne’s medical surveillance capabilities. There will not be any changes to the medical surveillance programs as we migrate to myCority. Employees who are participating in one or more of the lab’s medical surveillance programs will continue to receive reminders via email one month in advance of medical surveillance visits. They will also continue to receive periodic questionnaires based on their program compliance requirements and will now access questionnaires through myCority. Participants can request an HEW appointment to meet the lab’s medical surveillance programs requirements by calling the HEW clinic or by visiting the clinic in person.

Who Will Be Affected?

Primarily, this update will affect employees who would like to access their healthcare information online and those who are enrolled in medical surveillance programs.
