U.S. Department of Defense Office of Local Defense Community Cooperation

The Office of Local Defense Community Cooperation will host two informational webinars covering the recently released Community Noise Mitigation Program Notice of Funding Opportunity.

The webinars will be held on the following dates:

  • August 14, 2024, from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. EDT
  • September 10, 2024, from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. EDT

These sessions will outline the goals and objectives of the Notice of Funding Opportunity and address relevant questions.

Released on July 25, the Community Noise Mitigation competitive program is now accepting proposals. This program aims to support communities affected by fixed-wing aviation noise by funding noise mitigation measures at eligible facilities. Applications are due by October 22, 2024, at 5 p.m. PDT, and must be submitted through grants.gov.
