This is a reminder that the deadline for all public comments regarding the Community Noise Mitigation competitive program is approaching. 

On August 14, 2023, the Office of Local Defense Community Cooperation announced a Forecast Notice of Funding Opportunity Notice for the new $75 million Community Noise Mitigation Program. Interested parties have until 5 PM PDT, October 13, 2023 to provide their public comments here.

It is imperative for communities, civil aviation facility sponsors, and other potentially eligible parties to review the proposed eligibility criteria, application requirements, eligible activities, recipients, and timelines for this program.
