Changes to Eligibility Verification for SBP
The Defense Finance Accounting Service simplified eligibility verification requirements and forms for survivors. Survivor Benefit Plan annuitants now only need to verify their eligibility once a year.

New Survivor Resources Page
Military OneSource has a new "I am a Survivor" page that offers information, resources and confidential support options for our military survivor community.

A Lasting Tribute
If your service member died while serving honorably on active duty from 1985 to the present, you can create a tribute to them in the Military In Lasting Tribute online memorial. Visit the memorial to pay your respects and share your tribute with others.
