Introducing EFMP & Me

An online tool for military families with special needs

The Exceptional Family Member Program is committed to helping families with special needs thrive in military life. To help ensure our families can find information, connect with services and advocate for themselves or their family member’s needs, we launched a new online tool, EFMP & Me.

EFMP & Me expands family support by offering 24/7 access to information that is tailored to individual needs through checklists. These checklists provide steps, resources and tips to navigate through topics, such as:

Preparing for a PCS or deployment
Navigating special educational and medical needs
Getting organized and enrolled in EFMP

Through the EFMP & Me tool, checklists can be printed or saved and updated for future use with a free Military OneSource account.

EFMP & Me aims to streamline the process of locating information when and where it's needed.
