On May 12 — the Friday before Mother’s Day — we pause to give our appreciation to military spouses around the world. They serve as the glue of military life. Service members rely on their spouse to manage the home front when they are training or deployed and often serve as the family’s Chief Financial Officer. In addition, spouses handle the challenges of military life while lifting up and leaning on one another. Friendships formed during service can become family for life.
Just as a successful mission takes teamwork, a strong military community is built upon unity. This Military Spouse Appreciation Day, we ask for your help to build our community by sharing this important resource with others. Please forward this edition packed with tips and tools for spouses to someone in your peer group. Maybe a MilSpouse you know is approaching a milestone such as a PCS or deployment or is simply curious to learn more about debt reduction, spouse employment or investing, and therefore, could benefit from our content.
As always, we’d love to hear from you. Leave a comment in this month’s MilSpouse Appreciation blog.
Thank you for your service,
