Discontinuance of WFE-E
Over the past year, the DC3 Cyber Training Academy has been in the process of updating Windows Forensic Examinations (WFE). With the new version of the course releasing in the Fall 2023, the Academy will discontinue delivery of WFE-E online beginning January 1, 2024. The Academy is excited to welcome students in-residence for the redesigned course, which enables professionals to conduct digital analysis of Windows systems in a forensically reliable manner. Building on the foundation of the Cyber Incident Response Course (CIRC), WFE introduces best practices and relevant technical aspects of Windows forensic examinations. The course immerses students in mini-scenarios that escalate in difficulty, allowing practice and reinforcement of what has been learned while using trusted forensic tools, and long-form practice which prepares students for various work roles.
For questions, or for any further information, please contact the DC3/CTA Registrar at DC3.CTA.Registrar@us.af.mil or 443-733-1990.
