WFE-E Online Course Discontinuance
Over the past year, the DC3 Cyber Training Academy has been working diligently to update the Windows Forensic Examinations (WFE) course. The new redesigned course will be released in Fall 2023. Beginning January 1, 2024, the Academy will discontinue the delivery of WFE-E online. The Academy is excited to welcome students in-residence for the new redesigned course, which will enable professionals to conduct digital analysis of Windows systems in a forensically reliable manner. Building on the foundation of the Cyber Incident Response Course (CIRC), the new redesigned WFE introduces best practices and relevant technical aspects of Windows forensic examinations. The course further immerses students in mini-scenarios that escalate in difficulty, allowing practice and reinforcement of what has been learned while using trusted forensic tools, and provides a long-form practice that prepares students for various work rolls.
