The 134th Air Refueling Wing was presented with the Stanley F.H. Newman Award during the 48th annual Airlift/Tanker Association Convention on Oct. 28.
This award recognized the most outstanding Air National Guard wing or group contributing to overall success of the Mobility Air Force Mission from July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2016.
Col. Lee Hartley, vice commander of the 134th ARW, said members of the 134th ARW have been very busy over the past year with over 470 deployments, 452 flying hours and over 23 million pounds of fuel off loaded.
