The Air Mobility Command Inspector General team from Scott Air Force Base, Ill. completed a mid-point Unit Effectiveness Inspection visit on the 156th Airlift Wing Inspector General Office here, April 30.
The AMC IG team visit is in anticipation to the unit's scheduled UEI Capstone event that is scheduled to take place in September.
"The UEI is a significant milestone for the unit as the results will have an impact on the future of the installation," said Col. Edward L. Vaughan, 156th Airlift Wing commander. "We have made notable accomplishments within the major graded areas to improve our unit effectiveness. However, we must not lose sight of all that still need to be done before September's Capstone event."
