Secretary of Defense Leon E. Panetta announced the following Department of Defense Senior Executive Service appointments: Erin Logan has been appointed to the Senior Executive Service as principal director for counternarcotics and global threats, Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (Policy), Washington, D.C. Logan previously served as special assistant to the assistant secretary of defense for Special Operations and Low-Intensity Conflict, Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (Policy), Washington, D.C. Elissa Slotkin has been appointed to the Senior Executive Service as principal deputy assistant secretary of defense for international security affairs, Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (Policy), Washington, D.C. Slotkin previously served as foreign affairs specialist, Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs, Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (Policy), Washington, D.C. |
