U.S. Defense Secretary Leon E. Panetta walks with U.S. Air Force Col. Mark R. August, commander of the 374th Airlift Wing, on Yakota Air Base, Tokyo, Sept. 17, 2012. Panetta visited with defense counterparts in Tokyo before traveling to Beijing and Auckland, New Zealand, on a weeklong trip to the Pacific region.
