U.S. Army Pfc. Thomas Duquette pours a liquid substance into what used to be a crater on Route 1, near Forward Operating Base Arian, Ghazni province, Afghanistan, June 27, 2012. Duquette is assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division's Company A, 1st Brigade Special Troops Battalion.
