U.S. Navy Seaman Timothy Oliver participates in a demonstration with a seaman from the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force at the Japan Maritime Officer Candidate School during a cultural exchange event in Etajima, Japan, June 23, 2012. U.S. and Japanese sailors participated in a series of cultural events, demonstrating the mutual friendship both navies share as part of the U.S.-Japan alliance.
