DMA Public Web will perform part one of a two-part upgrade to DoDLive Thursday, 4MAY17, from 1800-1900ET. Part one of this planned upgrade is installing PHP version 7.0.18 and should be transparent to all viewers of DoDLive content. During this time, content managers will briefly be unable to update content on all blogs.
This upgrade provides the foundation for the DMA Public Web team to deploy the latest version of WordPress to support your blog sites. The WordPress upgrade (coming in the next few weeks) will add additional security features and functionality to your environment. We are excited to be bringing you these new capabilities and will keep you informed when we roll out part two.
With any large change, we want to make sure our community is engaged! We do not anticipate any incompatibilities or errors resulting from either part of this upgrade process; however, if you notice anything not quite right with your blog site please let us know.
