This week at Commerce, Secretary Penny Pritzker participated at the Fortune Most Powerful Women Summit in Laguna Niguel, CA, where she highlighted some of the Department of Commerce’s efforts to support U.S. businesses.  During her question and answer session with Nina Easton, Fortune’s Senior Editor, Secretary Pritzker noted that in her first year at the Commerce Department, she has visited 25 countries on behalf of American companies and met with more than 1,200 business leaders, including more than one-third of the Fortune 500. Back in DC, she spoke with the U.S.-India Business Council about the potential to build partnerships, promote more trade, and create greater prosperity in both countries.

Additionally, two participants on the President’s Export Council commercial diplomacy trip with Secretary Pritzker to Poland and Turkey wrote about their experiences and what they learned.  I encourage you to read the blog posts by Michelle Cahn of Xerox and by Robert Wolf, CEO of 32 Advisors.
