Biden-Harris Administration Announces CHIPS Incentives Awards with Amkor Technology, GlobalWafers, Samsung Electronics, SK hynix, and Texas Instruments
Last week, the Biden-Harris Administration announced that the U.S. Department of Commerce has finalized four separate awards under the CHIPS Incentives Program’s Funding Opportunity for Commercial Fabrication Facilities. The Department awarded Amkor Technology up to $407 million in direct funding, GlobalWafers up to $406 million in direct funding, Samsung Electronics up to $4.757 billion, SK hynix up to $458 million in direct funding, and Texas Instruments up to $1.61 billion in direct funding.

Amkor Technology
