ICE conducts single adult, family unit, removal flights April 12Â
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, a component agency of the Department of Homeland Security, working in close coordination across the department including U.S. Customs and Border Protection, continued to facilitate removal flights of single adults family units from April 8 to April 12. Those included removal flights to Central America, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, and Peru. If a noncitizen arrives and has no legal basis to remain in the United States, they will be processed and removed quickly, consistent with U.S. law. 🔗Keep reading
HSI San Antonio investigation results in Texas man sentenced to 16 years for human smuggling attempt that resulted in deathsÂ
A central Texas man was sentenced to one count of conspiracy to transport noncitizens resulting in death and one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm following an investigation conducted by Homeland Security Investigations with assistance from the Medina County Sheriff’s Office. 🔗Keep reading
ERO Washington, D.C. arrests 5 noncitizens with drug-related convictions during nationwide law enforcement effort
Deportation officers from Enforcement and Removal Operations Washington, D.C. apprehended five unlawfully present noncitizens convicted of drug offenses as part of a nationwide law enforcement operation that ran from March 11 through March 26. During the nationwide operation, ERO deportation officers apprehended 216 unlawfully present noncitizens who have been convicted of drug trafficking or multiple drug possession related offenses involving methamphetamines, fentanyl, cocaine, heroin or synthetic drugs. 🔗Keep reading

Maryland man pleads guilty to soliciting sexually explicit images of children following HSI Baltimore investigation
An investigation conducted by Homeland Security Investigations Baltimore, the Maryland State Police, the Howard County Police Department and the Baltimore Police Department resulted in a Maryland man pleading guilty to child sex crimes. Eugene Edward Golden, 37, of Baltimore, pleaded guilty March 21 to conspiracy to commit sexual exploitation of a child and to two counts of sexual exploitation of a child in order to produce and transmit a visual depiction of the sexually explicit conduct. 🔗Keep reading
ERO Boston apprehends MS-13 member charged locally with assaulting police, family members
Enforcement and Removal Operations Boston arrested a Salvadoran national charged locally with assault and battery on a police officer, resisting arrest and assault and battery on a family or household member. Deportation officers with ERO Boston apprehended the 27-year-old noncitizen March 28 near his residence in Chelsea. He is a documented member of the notorious MS-13 transnational street gang. 🔗Keep reading
