ICE conducts single adult, family unit, removal flights April 5
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), a component agency of the Department of Homeland Security, working in close coordination across the department including with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), continued to facilitate removal flights of single adults and family units, April 1 – April 5. Those included removal flights to Central America, Colombia, Ecuador, Ivory Coast, Mexico, Peru, Sierra Leone and Togo. If a noncitizen arrives and has no legal basis to remain in the United States they will be processed and removed quickly, consistent with U.S. law. 🔗Keep reading

HSI Laredo investigation results in the conviction of a bus passenger for smuggling over $1.2M of pure meth
A Mexican citizen pleaded guilty for attempting to smuggle 140 pounds of pure meth following an investigation conducted by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) with the assistance of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). ERO Salt Lake City arrests 9 noncitizens with drug-related convictions during nationwide law enforcement effort
Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) officers in the Salt Lake City area of operations covering Utah, Nevada, Montana and Idaho apprehended nine unlawfully present noncitizens who have been convicted of drug trafficking or multiple drug possession-related offenses involving methamphetamines, fentanyl, cocaine, heroin or synthetic drugs during a nationwide law enforcement effort. 🔗Keep reading
