ICE releases Fiscal Year 2023 annual report;Â new interactive statistical dashboard
On Dec. 29, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement released the fiscal year 2023 annual report, which highlights the agency’s primary mission areas of interior immigration enforcement and combatting transnational crime. ICE conducts single adult, family unit removal flights Dec. 27
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, working in coordination with the Department of Homeland Security and U.S. Customs and Border Protection, facilitated removal flights, including single adults and family units to Central America and Venezuela from Dec. 26 through Dec. 27. Since May 12, DHS has removed or returned over 460,000 individuals, the vast majority of whom crossed the Southwest Border, including more than 75,000 individual family members. 🔗 Keep reading
ICE, EOIR establish ‘juvenile docket’ for children and teenagers
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Office of the Principal Legal Advisor, in coordination with the Department of Justice Executive Office for Immigration Review, has created specialized juvenile dockets in 49 immigration courts across the country. Through this initiative, specially trained OPLA staff will manage all cases on EOIR’s juvenile dockets, which will help ensure tailored, consistent, child-centered support for juvenile noncitizens. 🔗Keep reading

HSI’s Operation Youngblood Update: 1 more subject arrested, only 4 subjects still at large
Homeland Security Investigations San Juan, along with the Puerto Rico Police Bureau and the U.S. Marshals Service, arrested Shaquille Emmanuel Rivera–De Jesus, one of the fugitives of HSI’s Operation Youngblood executed on Sept. 22, 2023. Rivera-De Jesus was one of the five subjects still at large and a member of the criminal organization Hasta los Marcian. 🔗 Keep reading
ERO Los Angeles removes Romanian national wanted in home country for human trafficking
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Enforcement and Removal Operations Los Angeles field office removed a Romanian national wanted in his home country for involvement in human trafficking. Marius Caldararu, 25, was removed to Romania Dec. 12 and turned over to proper authorities to face related charges. 🔗 Keep Reading
