ICE conducts single adult, family unit removal flights Dec. 22
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, working in coordination with the Department of Homeland Security and U.S. Customs and Border Protection, facilitated removal flights, including single adults and family units to Central America, Colombia, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Jamaica, Peru, Uzbekistan and Venezuela from Dec. 18 through Dec. 22. Since May 12, DHS has removed or returned over 445,000 individuals, the vast majority of whom crossed the Southwest Border, including more than 70,000 individual family members. 🔗 Keep reading

HSI Washington, D.C. investigation leads to indictment for Washingtonian for fentanyl trafficking and firearms charges
On Dec. 18, a Homeland Security Investigations inquiry resulted in the arraignment of a Washington resident on a four-count indictment, charging him with possession with intent to distribute more than 400 grams of fentanyl, and using, carrying and possessing a firearm in connection with a drug trafficking offense. ERO El Paso removes fugitive wanted in El Salvador back to his home country
On Dec.15, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Enforcement and Removal Operations El Paso deported Herson Bladimir Molina-Linares, a 30-year-old unlawfully present El Salvadoran national wanted in his home country for aggravated extortion. 🔗 Keep reading
Human smuggler sentenced to more than 11 years for death of 2 migrants following HSI El Paso investigation
On Dec. 19, the third member of a human smuggling group was sentenced to 135 months in prison in a federal court in El Paso for her role in an ongoing conspiracy that resulted in the death of two migrants. Homeland Security Investigations El Paso investigated the case. 🔗 Keep Reading
