ICE conducts single adult, family unit removal flights Dec. 15
ICE, working in coordination with the DHS and CBP, facilitated removal flights, including single adults and family units to Angola, Brazil, Cape Verde, Central America, Colombia, Ecuador, Guinea, Mauritania, Senegal and Venezuela from Dec. 11 - 15. If a noncitizen arrives and has no legal basis to remain in the United States they are processed and removed quickly, consistent with U.S. law.ย ๐Keep reading

Unlawfully present Mexican citizen sentenced to 42 months following ERO Chicago arrest

ERO Harlingen removes Salvadoran wanted in home country for human smuggling and illicit association
ERO Harlingen removed Juan Carlos Pena Escobar, a citizen of El Salvador with a final order of removal, to El Salvador via a U.S. ICE Air Operations charter flight. Pena is wanted by El Salvadoran law enforcement authorities for human smuggling and illicit association. ๐Keep reading
HSI Los Angeles investigation ends with clothing wholesaler fined for customs fraud and violating US drug trafficking sanctions
A Southern California-based clothing wholesale company was fined $4 million, ordered to pay more than $6.3 million in restitution, and placed on probation for five years on Dec. 8 for undervaluing imported garments in a scheme to avoid paying millions in customs duties and for doing business with a woman linked to Mexico's Sinaloa drug cartel. ๐Keep Reading
