ICE conducts single adult, family unit removal flights Nov. 22
On Nov. 22, ICE, working in coordination with DHS and CBP, facilitated removal flights, including single adults and family units to Venezuela, Central America, Colombia and Ecuador. In the past two weeks, more than thirty repatriation flights transported thousands of individuals back to their country of origin and repatriated more than five thousand individuals directly to Mexico. 🔗Keep reading

HSI Baton Rouge launches holiday shopping organized retail crime campaign
On Nov. 22, HSI Baton Rouge and local law enforcement agencies launched Operation Sleigh Ride, an HSI-led law enforcement operation that targets organized retail crime at major shopping centers in the Baton Rouge metropolitan area. The operation increases the presence of law enforcement in major shopping areas in and around Baton Rouge from Black Friday through the holiday shopping season. 🔗Keep reading
ERO Washington, D.C. apprehends Guatemalan noncitizen convicted of crimes against Virginia minor
On Nov. 6, ERO Washington, D.C. arrested an undocumented noncitizen convicted of crimes against a Virginia minor. Deportation officers from ERO Washington D.C.’s Mobile Criminal Apprehension Team apprehended the 26-year-old Guatemalan national in Falls Church, Virginia. 🔗 Keep reading
CBP, HSI caution on the real dangers of counterfeit and prohibited goods ahead of holidays in Puerto Rico
On Nov. 21, in advance of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, HSI and CBP cautioned the public about the real dangers of purchasing goods that may be counterfeit, restricted or prohibited. The joint engagement with local media aims to educate the public on how these products are part of a larger transnational criminal enterprise. 🔗Keep Reading
ERO New York City arrests foreign fugitive wanted in El Salvador for terror-related charges
On Nov. 8, ERO New York City arrested an unlawfully present Salvadoran citizen who is wanted in El Salvador for terror-related activity. The foreign fugitive is a known 18th Street gang member and an active member of the Columbia Little Cycos Surenos clique. Long Island Fugitive Operations officers arrested the 27-year-old noncitizen without incident in Huntington pursuant to a warrant. 🔗 Keep reading
