ICE conducts single adult, family unit removal flights Nov. 15
ICE, in coordination with DHS and CBP, facilitated multiple removal flights, including single adults and family units to Central America and Colombia as part of dozens of other routine ICE removal flights conducted throughout the hemisphere and around the world. Since May 2023, DHS has removed or returned more than 380,000 individuals, including more than 60,000 individual family unit members. 🔗Keep reading

HSI Rio Grande Valley, federal partner investigation results in the sentencing of a Texas man for smuggling scheme resulting in death
After an inquiry led by HSI in collaboration with U.S Border Patrol, a local man was sentenced to prison on Nov. 14 for conspiracy to transport noncitizens resulting in the death of one individual. Julio Garca IV, 22, was sentenced to 45 months in federal prison to be immediately followed by three years of supervised release. 🔗Keep reading
ERO Boston arrests Jamaican national facing multiple rape charges
ERO Boston apprehended a Jamaican national on Nov. 7 for immigration violations. The 52-year-old noncitizen had been unlawfully present in the United States for over two years and was concurrently facing charges of multiple counts of rape and sexual assault in Mashpee, Massachusetts. 🔗 Keep reading
HSI Jackson holds first state Organized Retail Crime Alliance meeting
Prior to the holiday shopping season, HSI Jackson, Mississippi, collaborated with the newly formed Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi and Alabama Organized Retail Crime Alliance for the first strategic planning meeting in Mississippi on Nov. 14. Their efforts are geared toward countering organized theft groups by targeting both domestic and transnational criminal organizations that profit from organized retail crime. 🔗Keep Reading
ERO Philadelphia removes Panamanian noncitizen wanted for attempted homicide
On Nov. 8, ERO Philadelphia removed Felix Valoy Gondola Moreno, a fugitive from Panama who was living in the United States illegally. Gondola is wanted by Panamanian law enforcement officials for attempted homicide. 🔗 Keep reading
