ICE conducts single adult, family unit removal flights Oct. 12
ICE, in coordination with DHS and CBP, facilitated multiple removal flights, including single adults and family units to Central America, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ecuador, Peru, the Republic of Angola and South Korea as part of dozens of other routine ICE removal flights conducted throughout the hemisphere and around the world. Since May 2023, DHS has removed or returned more than 300,000 individuals, including more than 45,000 individual family unit members. 🔗Keep reading

HSI Los Angeles repatriates chalice to Argentine Republic
On Oct. 5, HSI Los Angeles announced the repatriation of an artifact of cultural and ethnological significance to the Argentine Republic. The artifact's return occurred at the Argentine Consulate in Los Angeles, where Consul General Hector Monacci officially received the item from Supervisory Special Agent Chad Fredrickson of HSI Ventura. 🔗Keep reading
ERO Boston arrests fugitive wanted for financial fraud in Brazil
On Oct. 10, ERO Boston arrested an unlawfully present fugitive who is wanted for financial fraud in Brazil. In July 2021, the 37-year-old fugitive unlawfully entered the United States at Otay Mesa, California, and was initially apprehended by the U.S. Border Patrol. He was released under the Alternatives to Detention program pending removal proceedings. 🔗Keep reading
Barceloneta school security guard indicted for child exploitation
On Oct. 6, special agents from HSI arrested Pedro Juan Molina-Falconi, a 34-year-old security guard from a school in Barceloneta, Puerto Rico. A federal grand jury indicted Molina-Falconi on three counts of coercion and enticement of a minor, receipt of child exploitation material and transfer of obscene material to a minor on Oct. 5. 🔗Keep reading
ERO Baltimore apprehends previously removed Honduran noncitizen convicted of methamphetamine distribution
On Sept. 19, the Fugitive Operations Team of ERO Baltimore apprehended a 32-year-old Honduran national who was previously deported from the United States due to a methamphetamine distribution conviction. The undocumented noncitizen was taken into custody outside his residence in Baltimore. 🔗Keep reading
