ICE conducts single adult, family unit removal flights Sept. 20
ICE, in coordination with DHS and CBP, facilitated multiple removal flights, including single adults and family units to Central America, Guinea and Nigeria as part of dozens of other routine ICE removal flights conducted throughout the hemisphere and around the world. Since May 2023, DHS has removed or returned more than 250,000 individuals, including more than 36,000 individual family unit members. 🔗 Keep reading
42 gang members charged with drug trafficking and firearms violations in Puerto Rico
On Sept. 20, U.S. Attorney for the District of Puerto Rico W. Stephen Muldrow announced the indictment of 42 gang members from Manati. They were charged with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute, as well as possession and distribution of controlled substances and firearms violations. 🔗Keep reading
ERO San Francisco removes foreign fugitive to Mexico
On Sept. 11, ERO San Francisco deported Jose Guadalupe Villegas Fuerte, a 35-year-old foreign fugitive holding Mexican citizenship. Authorities transported him from Bakersfield to the San Ysidro Port of Entry by ground. Upon reaching the port of entry, they promptly handed him over to the appropriate authorities. Villegas had unlawfully entered the United States at an undisclosed date and location without undergoing inspection, admission or parole by an immigration official. 🔗Keep reading

HSI Dallas-led operation results in 134 arrests for commercial sex transactions
On Sept. 20, the North Texas Trafficking Task Force, led by HSI Dallas, announced the arrests of 134 individuals on charges of purchasing sex, a felony violation in Texas. This extensive operation from Sept. 11 through Sept. 15 involved collaboration with 15 federal, state and local law enforcement agencies across four cities within the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area. The operation helped combat the increasing demand for human trafficking and commercial sex in the region. 🔗Keep reading
