ERO Washington, D.C. removes Salvadoran national wanted for aggravated homicide
ERO Washington, D.C. removed an undocumented Salvadoran national from the United States to El Salvador on July 14. He was wanted by authorities in his home country for deprivation of liberty and aggravated homicide. HSI New Orleans launches multistate Organized Retail Crime Alliance
HSI New Orleans announced a new multistate collaboration on July 19 to combat organized theft groups by targeting domestic and transnational criminal organizations that profit from organized retail crime. HSI San Diego, multiagency case results in 15-year sentence of man for organizing smuggling event that resulted in 13 deaths
A federal judge sentenced the coordinator of a fatal smuggling event near Calexico, California, to 15 years following an investigation by HSI, the U.S. Border Patrol, the California Highway Patrol and the Imperial County Sheriff’s Office. Thirteen undocumented migrants were killed when the vehicle they were concealed in collided with a semi-tractor trailer. 🔗Keep reading
