Mexican national convicted for possession of child pornography following HSI, partner investigation
A Mexican man was convicted of crimes associated with child pornography following an investigation conducted by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) with the assistance of the U.S. Border Patrol, Laredo sector. Thirty looted antiquities returned to Kingdom of Cambodia
Damian Williams, the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, and Ricky J. Patel, acting special agent in charge of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York, announced the return of 30 antiquities to the Kingdom of Cambodia. Among the antiquities returned was a 10th century sculpture of Skanda on a Peacock and a monumental 10th century sculpture of Ganesha, both looted from the ancient Khmer capital Koh Ker. 🔗 Keep reading

Arizona man sentenced 70 months for liquid methamphetamine trafficking following HSI, DEA bust
A southern Arizona man was sentenced to 70 months in prison, followed by 36 months of supervised release as the result of an investigation by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) with assistance from the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). Rey Moreno-Vasquez, 52, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Cindy K. Jorgenson; he previously pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute methamphetamines. 🔗Keep reading
