An eastern South Dakota man was indicted in federal court on multiple counts of production of child pornography. Jayden Kusiek Wolf, 22, of Sioux Falls, made an initial appearance March 25 before a court judge where he was publicly indicted on two counts of production of child pornography. Wolf also faces multiple charges at the state level for related crimes. Read more

CHILD EXPLOITATION | Jury convicts Missouri man of sexual exploitation of a child following ICE HSI, law enforcement partner investigation
A Missouri man has been convicted at trial for the sexual exploitation of a child following an investigation by HSI and the Southwest Missouri Cyber Crimes Task Force. Terry Lee Miksell, 65, was found guilty on Tuesday of one count of producing child pornography and one count of using the internet and a cell phone to induce a child to engage in sexual activity. NARCOTICS | California resident receives 15-year prison sentence following multi-agency fentanyl death investigation
A federal investigation into the death of a 20-year-old man resulted in a 190-month prison sentence for a Chula Vista resident. Jonathan Mefford, 24, was sentenced for selling fentanyl-laced pills that caused the death of a 20-year-old man in October 2018, and for distributing multi-pound level quantities of methamphetamine from San Diego to Kansas.
