ICE updates its COVID-19 web page with additional detainee statistics

ICE updates its COVID-19 web page with additional detainee statistics

WASHINGTON – U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has updated its COVID-19 web page to include additional statistics on detainees in its custody. The new statistics can be accessed via a tab on the COVID-19 web page titled detainee statistics.

The following COVID-19-related detainee statistics can now be found online:

ICE’s current detention population,
Total number of detainees tested for COVID-19,
Number of confirmed COVID-19 cases currently under isolation or monitoring (by facility),
Detainee deaths related to COVID-19 (by facility), and
Total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases (by facility).

ICE’s COVID-19 web page also features statistics on confirmed employee COVID-19 cases, judicial releases, as well as answers to frequently asked questions.
