ICE HSI shares tools to keep children safe online
Project iGuardian is focused on keeping children and teens safe from online predators through education and awareness
Around the globe, children have shifted to virtual learning and spending more time online, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In order to help parents and guardians protect them, the Child Exploitation Investigations Unit at ICE Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) wants families to know that ICE has a variety of tools available on its iGuardian webpage to help keep kids safe while using the internet. The Texas Office of the Attorney General assisted the ERO Dallas Fugitive Operations Team with the arrest
Officers with ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) arrested a Salvadoran man in Arlington, Texas, who was wanted for capital murder. Jonathan Alexander Gonzalez-Rosales, 25, is in the U.S. illegally and an active member of the 18th Street Gang, a transnational criminal organization. Read more

Learn more | ICE HSI roots out child predators at home and abroad
For more than 20 years, protecting our most vulnerable and rooting out child predators has been a high priority of HSI.
Since the launch of Operation Predator in 2003, HSI has arrested more than 25,000 people for crimes against children, including the production and distribution of online child exploitation material, traveling overseas for sex with minors, and sex trafficking of children. In fiscal year 2019 alone, more than 3,700 child predators were arrested by HSI special agents and more than 1,000 victims were identified or rescued. Learn more

COVID-19 | ICE Air has flown over 1,000 US citizens home amid COVID-19 pandemic
ICE, working with the U.S. Department of State, has flown home a total of 1,037 U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents on the return leg of removal flights via ICE Air Operations. They occupied the available seats on flights to the United States from El Salvador, Honduras, Colombia and Nicaragua. Read more
