ERO | ICE Air flying home US citizens from Central America during COVID-19 outbreak

ICE, working with the U.S. Department of State, has brought home a total of 209 United States citizens on the return leg of two removal flights via ICE Air Operations. U.S. citizens occupied available seats on flights to the United States from Honduras and El Salvador. Read more

COVID-19 | Updated ICE statement on COVID-19

ICE's highest priorities are to promote life-saving and public-safety activities

Consistent with its sensitive locations policy, ICE will not carry out enforcement operations at or near health care facilities, such as hospitals, doctors' offices, accredited health clinics, and emergent or urgent care facilities during the COVID-19 crisis, except in the most extraordinary of circumstances. Individuals should not avoid seeking medical care because they fear civil immigration enforcement. Read the full statement

Lifesaving | ICE HSI agent, family, save man in danger of drowning, hypothermia, during boating trip

An ICE Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) special agent and his family were sailing en route to the Strait of Juan de Fuca when they intercepted a Coast Guard broadcast stating a man had fallen overboard near Edmonds and was in need of urgent assistance. The family quickly changed course and raced to the man’s aid. Read the whole story
